Not sure what it is, but my down speed is about 26 kb/s. Only on my Lion system.
Will follow-up later– using 10.6.8 IONetworkingFamily.kext in /E/E.
RIP Steve Jobs

I have never in my life been affected emotionally by the death of a famous person until today.
Steve Jobs was more than just an inspiration to me. His vision that technology can be beautiful changed the way that I work. He taught me that there is a place for art in everything. And he created a great piece of the world that I live in.
There is nothing I can say about him that hasn’t already been said, but there is a part of me that always hoped I would grow up to be this man. Steve, may there be endless beauty and a single black turtleneck wherever you go.

Scope

I envisioned this article as a thorough commentary on the pitfalls and roadblocks that often plague the process of defining a project’s scope.
Instead, I ended up cramming said post into a hasty, two-paragraph skeleton of a cohesive thought. It’s not my fault: I have only so much time and space available to me. You know what? I don’t even need to write about scope. Unicorns! How about unicorns? In all seriousness, though, my reader would love to read about unicorns. I’ll revisit my original idea later, when I’ve had some more time to get my mind around it. My reader probably knows exactly what I was going to write, anyway.
I am going to knock this unicorns project out of the park.
